For my character animation infographic, I chose to create a pilot explaining how to make a paper airplane. I have realized while looking at everyone else's work, that I could do a lot more with color and I will be going back in over spring break to spruce up my pilot for the project.
Fun idea! I think looking at references for a pilot's uniform could help you with your character as well! It could provide a good base for some colors, as well as any extra details you might want to add to your character (optionally of course)
ReplyDeleteIt would be cool to animate the paper folding to show a sense of the folds when displaying the paper steps, but I bet that would be tricky.
ReplyDeleteI really like the style of your character. It'll look great in color
ReplyDeleteHaving a tutorial for a paper airplane come from a pilot is a great idea!
ReplyDeletei love how this matches what you are interested in going into in the future (cars)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Heath in that it would be really interesting to animate the paper folding and forming into the plane!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. Very fun. You might try a preposition with just trying to fold the plane in after effects. how about be nice but I don’t mind the black and white version you have posted. Check out these links, google after effects folding paper tutorial.
ReplyDeletereally cool idea to make the pilot fly paper airplanes instead of real airplanes. Your illlustration style is really good and will be even better with color
ReplyDeleteThis is a really interesting concept for an infographics animation. Can't wait too see the final.
